African Men Want To Marry Indian Women

Why African Men Want To Marry Indian Women?

Well sound wierd. Isn't it?..But many young African men feel that they should have been born in India and would have love to marry Indian Women.

Reason?..The problem of Indian Woman is same as problem of African Man. That is dowry!!!!!!!

In Africa, it is still practised extensively and known as "lobola" in the southern parts of the continent, "mahari" in east Africa or "wine-carrying" among tribes in west Africa.
Traditionally, the prospective husband is expected to give a certain amount of money and goods, including cattle, goats, blankets or cowrie shells before a marriage is agreed.
Bride price or dowry was revered as a symbol of sincerity and good faith that brought together the bride's and groom's families.
Officially taking dowry or giving dowry is crime in India. But unfortunately many people willingly do this crime and can be termed as criminals!!!!!!!!!
Many people considered their right in taking dowry. Now if we logically analyze dowry we find that girl's family pay for the food that their daughter is going to have for her entire life!!!!...
In return she gets name of her husband , serves him , becomes mother and his support system. Then the cycle continues and when she is looking for bride of her son , she too becomes interested in dowry!!!!!!!!!!
In africa it is reverse and so african men find it too expensive to marry...
My personal opinion is that if a man is not capable enough to take carry of his wife and have a family , he doesn't have any right to marry. Yes if i am father of the bride i would surely be concerned of girls future and would love to secure her , but there are means and methods to do that. Dowry is not the right way to do that.
Dowry system would continue till girl's parent dont answer their concerns and fears. The key to that is empowerment of women. The more she becomes capable of handling her own affairs , the more bargaining capacity would increase and the more easily this system of dowry would get eradicated.
Lets hope this system dies soon.
