There are many kinds of free samples out there. When you're freebie hunting online, you can expect to run into 4 different kinds of free samples

So how can you make sure that you zero in on the best free samples, which are usually limited in quantity, and require you to do nothing but give away your details and shipping address?
1. If it's too good to be true... It usually is. No one will offer you freebies with free shipping on heavy or bulky items. If the item itself is not cheap, you will have to pay for it - One way or another. As a general rule of thumb, you a free sample isn't too expensive and you are told it will arrive within this time frame, most likely you will not be requested to pay any shipping fees.
4. Look for the fine print (or the big sub headline). Independent shops, that are sending away samples to potential customers, and request your to send in a stamped envelope, don't hide it. As long as you read through the instructions, you will be able to quickly locate this condition, if it exist. Better yet, hit ctrl+F on your keyboard and look for the word "shipping".
